South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre

The South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre operates as a family, child and youth community enrichment centre. The Centre supports and fosters the development of community based and community driven projects that nurture and enhance a healthy quality of life for residents of South London. Funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the centre also provides settlement services to newcomers in South London to help them integrate into Canadian Society. Programs are provided free or for a minimal cost.

Programs for youth 11 to 24 years old recognize the diversity in South London, and are inclusive to the needs of the community. They include Youth Centre Council, Boys Club, Sports Nights, Youth Dances, Summer Sunsation, Junior Club, March Break Fun, Girls Club, Special Events, Employment Help, Tutoring, Youth Advocacy, Drop-ins, Youth Support, Power Hour after school drop-in, Youth Chefs, Westminster Youth Council and Movie Night.

Programs are also provided for adults living in South London. They include Community Kitchen, Community Garden, Arabic Sewing Classes, Adult Gym, Sunrise Games, Basic Cooking, English as a Second Language (Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4), Women's International Cooking, Friday Soup Luncheon, Intergeneration Computer Classes, Newcomers Seniors Support Group, Community Outreach, Connecting the Cultures, Womens Support Group and International Women's Day.
